The summer of 2013 started with a great blessing from one of our partners NDI. Led by Team Leader Melinda a group of Mississippi University Students visited World Hope Academy, and brought Bibles for each student in grades 3-8. This is a huge boost to our Christian Union and equally assures us that every child will have a Bible during Chapel service, on Fridays and church on Sundays. The team was treated to some great songs and dances as well as a few poems to cap off the performance. Gracious Lumadede, a student in grade 6 really impressed the group with a song she composed and performed all by herself. This is a testament that we are truly molding our kids well, at Hope Academy thanks to our teachers and our strong Christian Union program that helps nurture such talents.
NDI has been a long time support to us, supplying food that ensures kids get a balanced diet for a healthier future. Now they have come along side us in a strong way to help elevate the spiritual well being of our students as well with this great donation of Bibles. We are so grateful for such great partners who value our program and support it at every opportunity they get. Thanks to NDI the faces of our kids are painted with smiles and their hearts are filled with joy as they know someone somewhere thought about them in a great way, and planted a seed they will sow in the future.
